o About me
Hello! My name is Victoria Anderson and I created and run Victoria Anderson Studio, a sculpture workshop. I specialise in creating lifesize pet sculptures and accept pet sculpture commissions from across the globe. I am based in Glasgow and for many years worked as a sculptor within the Glasgow Sculpture Studios. I’ve undertaken prestigious commissions for local authorities across Scotland, including; school gates in Ardgour, Ardnamurchan, Inverness and outdoor seating and signposts for Crieff, Perth & Kinross.
I’ve also worked on numerous private commissions and since 2006 have combined this with teaching Art & Design at a secondary school.

Growing up, our family home always included dogs and cats and the love and companionship of animals has always been a cherished part of my life.
I now focus my creative abilities towards producing sculptures of our four legged friends. On this website you can see my adored Bull Terriers, Marco and Vince.
I love the creative and technical challenges of capturing a dogs' distinctive appearance and personality. Every animal is so beautifully unique.

Together, we can create a fantastic sculpture of an animal dearest to you.

o My inspiration
I am a sculptor and designer and have spent many years making a variety of projects using metal. And now I am making these beautiful sculptures using an amazing material called jasmonite. I've been blown away by people's reaction to my sculptures of dogs and also by how important a dog is as a treasured family member and lifelong companion. These are unique and intricate pieces of art with a complex process of production from design, modelling and clay, mold making, casting and finally finishing where I bring these beautiful pieces to life.
Many thanks to Seth Gardner for his amazing videography - redsnappa.com & legacyfilms.com and to Billy Teasdale for his invaluable help in the workshop at The Chalet Studio, Govanhill, Glasgow.
